Throughout the years this research group has developed consistent research on several topics regarding offenders and offending strategies and also the judicial system. Accordingly, research focused the characteristics of various types of offenders namely psychopaths, sex offenders, and spouse abusers. In doing so research has been dwelling with the need for constructing and validating several diagnostic tools (e.g., ASEBA, AQ, HCR-20, PCL-R, SVR-20,…) particularly common for assessing offenders, in community and institutional settings.
Additionally, research focused on the judicial system comprising a large set of research issues. One line of studies considered the prison setting, both its effects on inmates but also evaluating several aspects of the personnel.
