About

The project aims to enhance prevention and identification strategies and develop targeted and personalized assistance, protection, and (re)integration programs for victims of sexual exploitation, involving multiple entities (close cooperation with local authorities and non-governmental organizations, especially women's and victims' associations). The objectives include: assessing the experiences, conditions, and vulnerabilities of victims of sexual exploitation, especially exacerbated in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as new forms of violence against women and girls on digital platforms; analysing prevention, reporting, and assistance mechanisms for victims of sexual exploitation (such as human trafficking for sexual exploitation) and improving them through a holistic approach; developing and testing cross-sectoral guidelines and flowcharts (harmonizing procedures and communication among various stakeholders at all stages) for better referral of victims and their social reintegration; assisting migrants in their voluntary and assisted return or regularization process or asylum procedure; promoting training actions for professionals working in the areas of prostitution, human trafficking for sexual exploitation, or other forms of sexual violence.
